Barry M Spring Green + Diamond Glitter

This beauty combo I am showing today are 2 of my new polishes, Barry M Spring Green and Barry M Diamond Glitter. Spring Green has been on my Barry M wishlist for months but it's never been one I've picked up, I finally got it due to Superdrugs having a free polish when you pay £6, I got this, Rose Quartz and Grey (finally) I couldn't find Rose Quartz anywhere all December lol

Anyway back to the polish in this post, Spring Green is exactly that a bright grass like green that sings spring mornings and daffodils. This has a lovely application like all Barry M's I've tried so far, they are just perfect and I have used 2 even coats for opaqueness.

1 coat of Diamond Glitter and a top coat to finish it off. My bottom and top coat is always OPI Nail Envy, I won't use anything else, it's the only thing that minimizes to much splitting and breaking!

Christmas Eve with Barry M

Last Christmas manicure of the season and I opted for no red or green this time lol Instead I've used a beautiful foily pink that was LE from Boots when you spend £6 on Barry M.

The tree design is one I saw months ago and I knew I'd do it for Christmas, it is from Nail Side.

I used 2 coats of the Barry M Pink, it applies quite nicely and is beautiful, I added Barry M Diamond glitter over for a Christmas sparkle. My ring finger and thumb are Barry M Silver foil with the pink as trees. Rhinestone baubles :)

Pics below:

And I know this isn't nail polish but it is Christmas Eve and what do we do? We bake and this is the first Yule Log I've ever baked before so, I made all my decorations from royal icing, first for me too.

See my cute mushrooms hehe

I was so impressed with my efforts I had to post it :3

Enjoy and Merry Christmas everyone! x

Christmas snowflakes

Again with Christmas! I don't have to introduce Barry M retro red again, it is a great Christmas red polish, and has been well used for the coming holiday.

I teamed it up with a pack of cute stickers I bought from eBay with various snowflakes and bows, I then added plain rhinestones in the center of the snowflakes and a green in the center of the bows.

A quick and simple idea but I'd say very Christmas looking :3

Christmas Lattice Design

Todays Christmas design was inspired by from thepolishaholic quilted design and used in the 2 obvious Christmas colours, red and green!!

I am very pleased with how this came out, far from perfect, I've not such work with striping tape and I had a few difficulties but it came out quite well in the end.

My green is my beloved Catrice King of Greens, which I adore. 2 good coats with perfect application.
The red as you can see Barry M Retro Red, a nice thick coating to cover over the green.
Little 1.5mm rhinestones to give it some Christmas bling.

Christmas - Candy Canes

Today is the start of 2 weeks of Christmas themed nails starting with the super cute candy canes theme.

For a rare occasion I have pictures of both my right and let hand. For once it is my right hand that actually came out better than my left.

For my base I used Barry M Retro Red, and a super shiny red it is. It is great application and a one coater!
I used a white striper pen to make the candy cane stripes, simple and effective. The glitter is Mavala Pure Diamond.

Picture overload below!

Left hand.

Right hand.

I am really impressed with my right hand stripes compared to my left, the right hand normally looks like the dogs dinner lol

Max Factor - Fantasy Fire

I've done Fantasy Fire before but I've gotten a bit better at capturing the colour, I've done this one again. The base colour I've used is Barry M Black, the effect it made is sublime. A gorgeous shifting duo-chrome of deep burgundy, brown and green.

2 coats Barry M Black, with 2 coats of Fantasy Fire. They both have good application and coverage.

I love the burgundy tones this one gets in the right light.

With out further ado I leave you with a few pictures of Fantasy Fire below =)

Matte Top coats and Flakies

Today I have a post using a matte top coat. I've seen these around and been dying to try one but never got around to getting one. I got a matte top coat by NYC in my Halloween swap. This is the first time of trying it out. I used Barry M Retro blue, it is truly a magnificent blue and added my Nail Pop Sequin Effect.

Barry M Retro Blue is opaque in one good coat and application is a breeze.
Nail Pop Sequin Effect I added two coats.
I absolutly loved the effect of the flakie once I applied the matte top coat, it's beautiful.

Primark Angelica

This duo was absolute chaos to get the proper colour to camera, it appears as a beautifully shimmery purple a lot lighter than I can get on camera but in a diferent light it's more a musky purple brown colour. The colours I used was Technic purple, a cheap 99p I picked up from a stall earlier this year and the Primark Angelica I've already posted about before used with a light blue, so you can see total different effects with the different bases.
