Avon - Fiery Sky

Hello followers!

Today I have a swatch of an Avon nail polish called Fiery Sky. A pretty red flakie like polish that has been sitting around my collection doing nothing. I teamed it up with a favourite of mine China Glaze Stella.

2 coats of Stella as the base coat and another 2 coats of Fiery Sky made a lovely burgundy purple polish. Fiery Sky applies perfectly, no problems.

I took the pictures indoors with my new Samsung NX1100 so they are actually pretty accurate compared to my old fuji camera that never took good accurate pictures unless in very good light outdoors.

Avon - Mosaic Mica

I have here another one of my recent Avon shatter purchases. This one is Mosaic Mica, a glittery silver shatter. I've teamed this up with Barry M Raspberry that has been sat in my stash unused for months. Raspberry applies lovely and is opaque in 2 good coats. I applied the shatter thinly and the effect happens pretty instant. I really do love the shimmery shatters from Avon and I still have 2 others a blue and pink I have still to use.

Avon Gleaming Emerald Mosaic Top Coat

This is the first shatter top coat I've tried, I was never interested in these shatters, I didn't like the look. They always looked thick and chalky to me, blacks the most so I passed on this phase.
Until I saw the Avon ones in the book and really liked the look of these ones, especially as there nice and sparkly. Admittedly this looks nothing like how I swatched on my wheel lol as I went a bit heavy handed which created a larger shatter where as on the wheel I used thinner strokes which created nice smaller shatter but it is still very nice that I went and ordered another 2 in the next book :)

This one that I have is called Gleaming Emerald and it really is a beautiful glittery emerald shatter. It works really fast as well, I applied it and the effect begins in seconds, it's a lot faster to the croc effect that I used last year which takes longer.

I used Barry M Silver foil underneath, only one coat needed.

Avon - Painted Peonies

Today is a swatch of another of my 3 new Avon shimmers, this one is Painted Peony a soft apricot with shimmers of gold in the light. It is a lovely delicate shade and I loved it but it's not as to my tastes as something more bright lol

It applies smoothly but sheer, this was 3 coats.

Avon - Garden Green

I apologise that this is another green after I just did one last week but hey I love my greens, this one I forgot I even ordered. I ordered 3 of the new Avon nail wear pro+ polishes, in Garden Green, Blue Water Lillies and Painted Peony. They arrived today and I had to try Garden Green right away.

It applied great with 2 even coats making it opaque. It is quite like a garden grass green, quite dark from Barry M Spring green. It is more a lovely olive like green with a subtle shimmer that's hard to catch.

Picture overload below ;)
